The more I grow in Christ the more I want to be in GOD's
perfect will. I love knowing that the way I am living my life is pleasing to HIM! Romans 12:2 says Do
not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of
your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what GOD’s will is—HIS
good, pleasing and perfect will.
A few years back GOD allowed me to walk in his "permissive
will". This is the time in my life where I made a big
decision that was not in GOD's "perfect will". I knew in my spirit
that I was making a mistake but my flesh said otherwise. I paid dearly for that
and even though GOD kept me during that time (singing it was HIS GRACE and MERCY that kept me) HE still allowed me to go through.
The best part of walking in GOD's "permissive
will" is recognizing that you are not aligned with GOD and repenting (hallelujah)!
I am so glad that we serve a forgiving GOD! I am glad that HE heard my cries. I
am glad that even though I was disobedient to HIS will that HE still blessed my
mess.
Today as I live my life I go to GOD about EVERYTHING! I
seek HIS guidance in every area of my life. GOD has a purpose and plan for my
life for HIS good and glory. Isaiah 48:17 says his is what the LORD says your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the LORD your GOD, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.
Today ask yourself if you are living a life that is pleasing
to GOD?
Do you ask HIM what HIS will for your life is?
If not I challenge you to read the following scriptures:
Psalms 37:4-7
Romans 8:27-31
Proverbs 16:9
Proverbs 1:33
Isaiah 48:17
Psalms 48:14
Psalms 32:8
Psalms 37:4-7
Good word Aketa keep up the good work. I too am building a relationship with Christ and doing what I must to walk the walk talk the talk and live the word. It is not just enough to walk the walk and talk the talk you got to live the word. It gets hard and you have to make some sacrifice and move away from the familiar and go into the unfamiliar to do what God has call you to do. I know what he has called me to do and I am trying so hard to get to that point so please pray my strength in God. I love you girl

ReplyDeleteThanks Cathy! You are so right you have to move from the unfamiliar. It is so hard not to do what you are use too but the reward is so great. I desire to have closer relationship with GOD and I know that I can not do that being disobedient. I will pray for you and I ask that you do the same for me. Love you!!!

ReplyDeleteI am so excited about your journey! I can remember when I first came oversees GOD really worked somethings out in me. Shoot HE is still working things out. I am forever humble that HE sent me to the desert. Love you!
